  • Mia Blichfeldt

    19/08/1997, Danish Women’s single player.

    Mia is one of the founders of WBC.

    She has been playing badminton since the age of nine and plays on the international circuit since 2013.

    Mia has represented Denmark at The Olympic Games twice and is now chasing her third one in Los Angeles 2028.

    She loves to be creative with knitting and drawing and to explore new cooking skills.

    She lives and trains in France with Team Popov.

    “Always follow your own path. Ask yourself: What is the right thing for me?”

  • Debora Jille

    11/09/1999, Dutch Mixed and Women’s doubles player.

    Debora is one of the founders of WBC.

    Inspired by her two older brothers she picked up a racket at an early age.

    Next to badminton she has a passion for (making) music, food and learning about cultures and new languages.

    After just missing out on the Paris Olympics she has her full sights on trying to qualify for Los Angeles 2028.

    She lives and trains in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

  • Kirsty Gilmour

    21/09/1993, Scotland and Great Britain Women’s singles player.

    Kirsty is one of the Founders of WBC.

    Alongside professional sport, Kirsty has a BA in Filmmaking and Screen Writing and is passionate about LGBTQIA+ advocacy and inclusivity.

    Kirsty has attended 3 Olympic Games and is looking to make the 2028 Games in LA her fourth. She has 8 individual European medals and has been in the Top WR 32 consistently for the past 12 years.

    She lives and trains in Glasgow, Scotland.
